Applications are invited for the post of IT Assistant at Call Services Ltd (CSL).


Job Profile:


An IT Assistant shall ensure that the computer and Information Protocol (IP) Telephony systems are adequately programmed and maintained to ensure proper functioning of Call Services Ltd and the Mauritius Telecom Group of Companies.


 Main duties:


  • To assist with installation, maintenance, fault finding on PABX and computer network systems and its associated terminals/peripherals/modules;
  • To carry out maintenance and development on software implemented at CSL including the Contact Centre software for both Inbound and Outbound activities;
  • To perform Backup/Restore of IT Systems at CSL as per procedures;
  • To channel supports to appropriate units/suppliers for problem solving and timely follow-up;
  • To provide data, reports and other information as may be required by immediate supervisor;
  • To provide prompt assistance in information systems to users;
  • To provide prompt assistance to in house users as and when required;
  • To practice Customer Care principles at all times to achieve customer satisfaction; and
  • To perform any other duties related to main duties as may be assigned.



Desired Profile & Experience:


  • Higher School Certificate
  • At least a University Certificate in Information Technology or equivalent qualifications
  • Be up to date with the latest developments in ICT
  • Be available to work at irregular hours/on a round the clock (24/7) shift roster covering Sundays and other Public Holidays
  • Proficiency in PC/Network troubleshooting
  • Programming/Database skills – PhP, VB.Net and SQL
  • Ability to work in team
  • Analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Customer Focus / Care
